Best Sawgrass SG500 and SG1000 Printer and Ink Bundle Comparison Chart
Monday, October 26, 2020
Earlier this year Sawgrass released two new models of their popular Sawgrass sublimation printer: the SG1000 and the SG500. These are updated models from the SG400 and SG800.
The differences from the previous model are a faster processor, better quality results, a new ink formulation, and Bluetooth printing. However another option that Sawgrass introduced is the option for a full or starter set of ink...which has ended up causing some confusion and to be honest - frustration.

Patterned HTV: 3 Reasons I Love Thermoflex Patterned Heat Transfer Vinyl
Wednesday, September 23, 2020
If you're a fan of patterned heat transfer vinyl (and who isn't?), you know that sometimes cutting and applying it can be a rather confusing process.
This is a sponsored post, but all opinions are my own
The patterned HTV often comes without a carrier sheet (meaning some HTV goes against the rule of cutting in reverse) and the design can get lost in the pattern making it difficult to weed. But with Thermoflex Fashion Patterns both of those issues are non-existent. With the Thermoflex patterned HTV there's no second guessing - you cut it just like normal heat transfer vinyl and the back is white making the cut lines easy to see when weeding.

Silhouette Deep Cut Blade Review (And What It Can Cut in CAMEO)
Thursday, August 13, 2020
If you're considering the Silhouette Deep Cut Blade for Silhouette CAMEO or Portrait, this review and tutorial will give you a good start including cut settings for otherwise hard to cut materials.
The Silhouette Deep Cut blade can cut materials up to 2mm thick. Those are usually reserved for the Curio, CAMEO 3, Portrait 2 and Silhouette CAMEO 4 which are the machines that have the higher clearance and therefore can cut thicker materials. However I was also able to use the Deep Cut blade with success in my CAMEO 2. This gives you some options if you want to avoid or can't use the Kraft Blade.

Best Heat Press for Silhouette CAMEO Crafters
Wednesday, May 13, 2020
Rarely a day goes by when I'm not asked which heat press I recommend or which is the best heat press machine.
The answer isn't the same for everyone - as it really depends on why you are getting a heat press and what is most important to you.
To help you decide which heat press is best for you, I've tried to narrow down the biggest factors that come into play when buying a heat press: budget, quality, customer service, size and features.

Silhouette CAMEO 4 vs CAMEO 3: 8 (More) Subtle But Important Differences
Thursday, September 12, 2019
When the Silhouette CAMEO 4 was first announced in May 2019 we took a side by side look at Silhouette CAMEO 3 vs CAMEO 4. Most of the differences I initially pointed out focused on the power of the machine like cutting speed, force, and the ability to cut much thicker - and therefore more - materials.
Now that pre-orders have started and I have a Silhouette CAMEO 4 in my hands and am using it like a crafter in my craft room, rather than staring at it in a conference center, I'm noticing some additional differences between the old and new CAMEO machines.
