Monday, April 13, 2026
Centering a design on a shirt sounds simple until you're standing at your heat press with a transfer in one hand and a tape measure in the other. Trying to figure out where exactly the middle of the shirt is not as easy as it sounds.
Measuring, though, can be time consuming and your HTV or transfer can still end up off center or crooked.
The good news is there's a faster way to find the center of a shirt that doesn't require measuring at all. It's actually the only method I use.

HTV Won't Stick...Here's Why (And How to Fix It)
Wednesday, August 20, 2025
Do you ever struggle with HTV not sticking? The large majority of the time, it's NOT your vinyl and it's NOT your shirt - it's a pressure problem!
This is a common issue when you're working with sweatshirts, baby onesies, bags, or anything with thick seams, pockets, zippers, or hoods. These create what I call a "pressure barrier" that prevents your heat press from getting the full pressure it needs to properly adhere the HTV. Read on for the fix!

Why Bad Silhouette Cuts on Vinyl and HTV May NOT Be User Error (VIDEO)
Thursday, September 5, 2024
If your Silhouette CAMEO is not making clean cuts when cutting vinyl and HTV, there's a good chance it's NOT user error (and I don't often say that).
