New Silhouette Mobile App: Silhouette Go Features and First Look

A Silhouette app for iPhone, iPad, and Android devices has been released in open Beta on the same day the new Silhouette Portrait 3 machine went on pre order.

Silhouette Go is the name of the new Silhouette Mobile App which, earlier this year, Silhouette School was first to confirm would be released this fall.  The Silhouette App Silhouette Go is vastly different than the original app Silhouette mobile app which was removed completely in 2019.

Silhouette Studio Mobile App: What Can I Actually Do With It?

So you've successfully downloaded and installed the Silhouette Studio Mobile App along with Silhouette Link on your computer. (No? Read this step by step tutorial on setting up Silhouette Studio Mobile App and Silhouette Link). You're up and running, but now you're wondering, "What can I actually do with the Silhouette Studio Mobile App?"

While the Silhouette Studio app is no longer considered beta, it's still relatively limited in its functions, especially compared to what Silhouette users are used to.  It's definitely nothing in comparison to the powerful desktop version of the Silhouette Studio editing software.

It's the day all you Silhouette Studio Mobile fans have been waiting for!!  Silhouette America has fully released the Silhouette Studio App to both Android and Apple users!  The app has been available in the Android store for several weeks, but today it was released to IOS (Apple/iPhone users!)

So if you follow me on Instagram you know I had (and still have) quite the frown over the fact that I have still not received a download link for the beta version of the Silhouette Mobile App.  I'm not even bitter.... because lucky for me - and you - I do have some awesome weekly contributors here at Silhouette School in Becky and Glenna, from My Paper Craze, and they did get the link and so these fine ladies are here to give us their first impressions on the Silhouette Studio Mobile App!

Now you guys know how I roll - I shoot it straight, avoid the sugar coat and call it like I see it. That's what I encouraged these ladies to do too because I want you to get an honest first impression!  Let's all keep in mind it's BETA!
