    1. Hello there! No transfer necessary, you will just need to sync your Cameo to your computer (plug in by USB or Bluetooth). If your software is out of date, you can find updates here: https://www.silhouetteamerica.com/software

  9. Hi Melissa,
I'm one of "those" that has had a Cameo 3-in-a-Box for several years. Thanks to your beginner videos I've had a few successes today.

I'm able to get an image on the Design Panel. I am not able to draw a box around the image using the mouse, so I use the Secect All tool. Then I cannot resize with the mouse. Is there a setting that I'm overlooking? It really shouldn't be this hard, right?

Oh, and is there a way to calibrate the auto-blade to make a cut deeper?

    1. Hi Kerstin! We can definitely help with all of this, however it would be hard without writing a novel in these comments! I'd encourage you to either reach out via the contact us button or on social media. Alternatively, you could check out Silhouette U https://silhouetteu.com/pages/silhouette-videos-help where we offer in-depth curriculums (including using Silhouette Studio) and have times for 1:1 help.

Late, late last night, I found a place to "restore to factory settings". Problem solved! Your blogs and videos are super helpful. I am encouraged.

  11. I just got the cameo 4 pro for Christmas. I’m finding that the huge 24x24 mat is a bit much to use when doing small projects. It’s shifting when I cut. Is there a trick to keep the mat from moving? There aren’t very many rollers for that large of a space to keep things aligned. May I suggest including a 12x12 mat in with the bigger machine! I ordered one and it’s on its way but I’m the meantime I’m wasting product because the bug mat is shifting.
