Silhouette Mint Dust Cover Pattern Free Download
Wednesday, August 9, 2017
Am I the only Silhouette Mint Stamp Machine owner who is a little sad there is not a dust cover for the Mint?
I figured if Silhouette America isn't going to make one and offer it - I may as well do it myself.
This little thing turned out so cute I figured you all might want to give it a try too so I'm offering the free pattern for the Silhouette Mint fabric cover to you in .Studio format.

All of my other Silhouette machines have pretty vinyl skins so I figured I should make a wrap template for the Silhouette Mint too.
Wouldn't want that cute little stamp machine to feel left out.

Silhouette Mint Stamp Machine Tutorial for Beginners
Monday, December 19, 2016
If you are hoping to get a Silhouette Mint Stamp machine for Christmas you might be wondering how to use this tiny Silhouette machine! It's unlike any of the the other cutters from Silhouette America because it's actually not a cutter at all. The Silhouette Mint creates DIY stamps in under a minute using thermal printing....and using the designs you already have in your Silhouette Studio library or any design you create or import.
So how do you use the Silhouette Mint? This beginner tutorial will walk you through everything you need to know so you can create you first stamp with the Mint. If you're looking for an honest Silhouette Mint Stamp machine review you can find it here.

Mint Studio Library: How to Upload Your Silhouette Studio Design Library in Mint Studio
Tuesday, October 13, 2015
A limited number of Silhouette Mint machines are now shipping...and by the end of the month they'll be much more widely available. So I thought it was a good time to share this tutorial on uploading your design library to Mint Studio.
If you're a new Silhouette Mint owner you may have noticed that when you downloaded and installed Mint Studio, the required software for the stamping machine, none of your designs from your Silhouette Studio library came over. (Of course if you don't have a Silhouette CAMEO, Portrait, SD or Curio, and only own the Mint you probably have no idea what I'm talking about and in that case - carry on. You'll build your library of designs as you go.)
But for those who have a Silhouette Studio library in the original software, you can access all of your designs and files in Mint Studio, as well.

Silhouette Mint Studio Software Released Ahead of Stamping Machine: First Look and Free Download!
Monday, September 28, 2015
Silhouette America released the new software required for the soon-to-be released Silhouette Mint late Monday. Unlike the Silhouette Curio, which uses the existing Silhouette Studio software with a few new functions, the Mint stamping machine, requires an entirely new software program known as Mint Studio.
Mint Studio is available for download now even though the Mint won't be available for purchase for several more weeks.
A few things I noticed right off the bat - and please keep in mind I haven't had ANY time to play with the software yet.

New Silhouette Machines and Software Updates and Upgrades
Monday, May 18, 2015
By now you've heard that Silhouette America will release two new machines later this year along with the ability for mobile editing in Silhouette Studio. Dozens of new Silhouette-brand products - including new cutting materials and deep cut blades - to use with the current Silhouette SD, CAMEO and Portrait machines will also be released. The details on those products are really limited but they could be out this summer.
Neither the Silhouette Curio or Mint are meant to replace the current machines. Instead, they're meant to accompany it - and because of their functions, they're especially attractive to paper crafters like our regular contributors Becky and Glenna from My Paper Craze. For that reason, I'm going to let my go-to paper experts explain more about the big news!
