5 Silhouette Studio Page Setup Panel Tools You NEED to Know

The Page SetUp Panel is one of the most important panels in all of Silhouette Studio. But hidden within the panel is a tab that controls six Silhouette Studio tools and features that somehow seem to have a life of their own.

If your Silhouette Studio ruler has disappeared..if you can't move designs freely around Silhouette Studio...if you suddenly have crosshairs in Silhouette Studio - you know what I'm talking about.  This tutorial will show you exactly where to find the controls for all of these options.

Where Do I Find the Page Setup Panel?

The first thing you need to do is know where to find the Page Setup Panel. The Page Set Up panel is the first tool on the right sidebar.

Clicking it will open the Page Set Up panel.

The second or middle tab on that panel is called the Options tab and it looks like a Grid..which is why it's sometimes called the Grid tab.

What is the Options Tab in Silhouette Studio's Page Setup Panel?

In this control window you'll find six major controls on everything from how to turn on the Silhouette Studio rulers to how to change the Silhouette CAMEO grid size to how to turn off those vertical blue lines.  So.many...OPTIONS.  And now you know why it's called the Options tab.

  1. The link to the blue lines 'how to' takes me to a page that says it doesn't exist. Is it just a bad link? Where can I find that particular blog? Thanks

  2. I have 4.4.463 installed and your menu has more options than mine, I have show grid and snap to grid but not the other 4 in that section. I do have the original Cameo, are the menu options based on the machine?
