Silhouette CAMEO Maximum Cutting Length Extended to 60'

All Silhouette CAMEO and Portrait machines can now cut up to 60 feet - well beyond their previous 16' limitation.

Cutting at this length obviously means you will be cutting off a roll of HTV, vinyl, or stencil material. This tutorial explains cutting vinyl without a mat on Silhouette CAMEO 4 or any other machine with the exception of the Silhouette Curio.

In order to take advantage of the extended maximum cutting length of the Silhouette CAMEO, you'll need to first update Silhouette Studio to at least V4.4.050.  This is the earliest version of the software that unlocks this feature.

Open the Page Setup panel from the Design area. Change the Cutting Mat option to "None" and the Material Size to Custom.

My suggestion is to rotate the orientation to portrait orientation.

You can now enter any length up to 720 inches which is 60 feet.

You'll need to use a Silhouette roll feeder when cutting this length. The Silhouette CAMEO 4, 15" CAMEO Plus and CAMEO Pro all have built in roll feeders. The Silhouette CAMEO 1, 2, 3 and Portrait machines can use the roll feeder attachment.
