How to run a nozzle check on the xTool M2
The inkjet settings are tucked under device settings in xTool Studio, inside Accessory Information — but that section stays empty unless the inkjet module is both installed and connected with its cable. Once it's connected, place a piece of paper flat on the base plate without covering the alignment marks, then start the nozzle status check from the software. The printed pattern should show complete, solid lines for all four colors (black, cyan, magenta, and yellow); missing lines or gaps in any one color point to the problem area.

How to run the ink ejection test
If the nozzle check shows a problem, the ink ejection test in the same accessory menu will confirm it. Remove the cap from the ink module manually, place a piece of paper (even one that's already been used for a prior test) on the base plate, and click test. A healthy result shows all four colors printing vibrantly in a small test mark; a faded or missing color in that same spot confirms which nozzle needs attention.
The simple fix: wipe the print head
Once a color is confirmed missing or faded, the fix is just to gently wipe the print head with a piece of tissue — no deep cleaning cycle or fluid injection required. After wiping, reinstall the module and run the ink ejection test again to confirm the missing color is now printing. Repeating the nozzle check afterward is the best way to verify the fix actually held before moving on to a real print.
