Best UV DTF Sticker Settings for xTool Omni UV Printing

If you're tried of print and cut stickers and are considering getting UV DTF stickers - one of the biggest concerns is knowing the best uv printer settings.

UV DTF stickers are no cut, no weed highly durable stickers that can be put on basically anything from phone cases to tumblers.

The process for making these stickers is important, but it doesn't matter if you know how to print, laminate and apply them if your settings are right! Here I'm sharing the best UV DTF sticker settings for the xTool O1 Omni that I've found.

Unlike the Eufymak E1 where there's a "Sticker Mode" there's no ink mode in xTool Studio like that. xTool's UV print settings, where available, are found by selecting the material you're printing on.

When you select the material as "Regular Transfer Sticker" the software should give you the recommend print settings.

I say "should" because they don't appear more often than they do..hence this tutorial!

For UV DTF stickers on the Omni you want to use the following settings:

Flat

Ink Mode: White + Color + Varnish

White: 6

Color: 1

Varnish: 2, Gloss

What those UV Print Settings Actually Mean

Each number is how many layers of that ink the printer lays down. An ink mode of White + Color + Varnish means that's the order the layers will print in.

Six passes of white is doing the heavy lifting. It seems like a lot - and it is - but it's the base of your sticker. Too few layers of white creates a sticker that can chip or flake off and/or create transparent sticker.

Too many color layers can create colors that are too dark. And not enough varnish or the wrong kind can mean your sticker isn't well protected against scratches and helps with laminating and transferring.
