Here's everything you need to know about the 15" Silhouette machine.

Where can I buy the Silhouette CAMEO Plus?

The 15" Silhouette CAMEO Plus and CAMEO Plus Bundles are not expected to be sold in store.
They will only be sold by online retailers - and will exclusively be available for pre-order at Swing Design.

Pre order for the CAMEO 4 Plus is open now with shipping expected in mid February.

The 20" Silhouette CAMEO Pro pre order is not open yet. It's expected to open in May with shipping in June.

What is the 15" Silhouette CAMEO Plus price?

The base Silhouette CAMEO 4 Plus price is $399 retail which is a $100 more than the 12" CAMEO 4.  CAMEO Plus Bundles will start at $429.

What are the 15" CAMEO 4 Plus Dimensions?

The Silhouette CAMEO Plus can take 15" materials with or without a cutting mat.  The exact cutting size area is 14.6" x 10' without a cutting mat and 14.6" x 15" with a cutting mat according to Silhouette America. I feel like it's worth pointing out, the 15" cutting mat I have seen is actually a 14" x 15" grid with an extended cutting area up to 14.6". It's unclear if those extended areas beyond the grid have adhesive making them cuttable area.
The CAMEO 4 Plus is exactly 3" longer than the 12" CAMEO 4 at 25.44" long.  The full dimensions are 25.44" x 7.68" x 6.69" and it weighs 11 lbs.

What is the difference between the Silhouette CAMEO 4 vs CAMEO Plus?

The only two major differences between the two machines is the the width and the price. The Silhouette CAMEO Plus has all the same features as the 12" CAMEO 4 including a built in roll feeder, built in cross cutter, high pressure tool carriage, smart tool system and the same cutting capabilities. It  can also be used with the CAMEO 4 specialty tools - Rotary Blade, 3mm Kraft Blade, Pen Holder, and Punch Tool.

It also uses the same Autoblade and tool adapters.

The Silhouette CAMEO Plus - and the even wider 20" CAMEO Pro - will only be available in White.

Will there by cutting mats for the 15" CAMEO Plus?

Yes.

Will there be 15" materials for the CAMEO Plus?

Heat transfer vinyl comes standard in 15" width and has for many years. It's one of the reason a 15" Silhouette cutting machine makes sense.  The CAMEO 4 Plus bundles available from Swing Design including 15" HTV and vinyl sheets.

  2. If I get the plus silhouette would I be able to use 12" vinyl in the feeder? Or are you limited to only using the 15" vinyl?
