If you've ever tried to select a layer in Silhouette Studio and wondered why your click isn't registering, you are not alone!
This happens all the time with offsets and other shapes that don't have a fill color.
The reason is simple: your layer is transparent, and you're literally clicking on empty space!The quick fix is to stop clicking inside the shape and start clicking directly on the cut line (the edge) to select it. I'll show you exactly what this looks like in the video below:
