Silhouette Studio Color Chart (V4): Free Download

Want to know exactly what colors your designs will print from Silhouette Studio?  Or just want to get better colors when printing from the Silhouette software?

This free Silhouette Studio Color Chart is all you need!
The colors you see in Silhouette Studio can not only vary from the digital files that are saved out of the software, but they can also vary (usually even more dramatically) when printed. And they may look different on various material type such as copy paper vs glossy sticker paper vs sublimation.

Each circle on the Silhouette Studio color chart matches the color swatch on the Fill Color panel.

By printing out the color sample sheet you'll know how those standard colors will print.

And more importantly, you can decide if you want to make any adjustments or pick a different color before you print!

To use the free printable  Silhouette Color Sample Sheet just download it here (it's a Studio file) to your computer. Then open in the Silhouette software.

Change the Page Setup so the Media Size is Printer and then click the Print tool along the top tool bar to print.

Compare the print out to the colors on your screen and you'll see they're not exactly the same.

I printed on several different materials: copy paper, glossy sticker paper, and matte sticker paper so I could compare the colors. Look closely at the top left circle on each sheet. You can see the colors came out slightly different on each.

Keep these color sheets handy the next time you are filling designs with color in Silhouette Studio so you can make your color selections based on how the colors will print on various materials rather than what they look like in Silhouette Studio!
