First Look! 15" Silhouette CAMEO 4 Plus Unboxing (Video)

Guess who got their hands on the very first Silhouette CAMEO 4 Plus - the new 15" Silhouette CAMEO. This girl right here.

I unboxed the 15" CAMEO Plus and answered some of your biggest questions during a Facebook Live unboxing video recently.

I figured I'd share it with you here in case you missed it and so you can easily refer back and give some expanded answers to the top questions.

What is the Silhouette CAMEO 4 Plus Release Date?

The Silhouette CAMEO 4 Plus is currently available for pre order and will begin shipping first from Swing Design. Shipping should begin the first week of February.

Difference between 15" Silhouette CAMEO Plus and CAMEO 4?

The Silhouette CAMEO 4 Plus is the exact same machine as the 12" CAMEO 4 with the exception of the cutting width.  Both machines can use all the same CAMEO 4 tools and blades and perform all the same functions.  Therefore all Silhouette CAMEO 4 tutorials should also be considered 15" CAMEO Plus tutorials.

What is the Silhouette CAMEO 4 Plus price?

The 15" CAMEO machine retails at $399.  CAMEO Plus bundles start at $429.

20" Silhouette CAMEO Pro vs 15" CAMEO Plus

The 20 Silhouette CAMEO 4 Pro is the same as the 15" CAMEO 4 Plus and the 12" CAMEO 4 just with a wider cutting ability.  The 20" Silhouette CAMEO Pro release date has been only been confirmed as pre orders will open in May 2020.

  1. Exciting!! Any idea what the print and cut area is like on the 15" Plus machine? I'm ordering one this week and can't wait to get it! Thanks.

  2. Do you have a video on using the rotary cutter on fabric?
