This is one of the most common things E1 UV printer owners run into and the fix is straightforward once you know what's actually happening.
I have a full video walking through exactly where to find this in the software and what to do:
Coming out of maintenance mode is one of the most common triggers for white ink problems on the EufyMake E1. The test print takes about four to six minutes and will tell you immediately whether your white ink is printing correctly before you waste any materials on a bad print.
If your white ink looks wrong on the test print, check out these resources:
The best habit to get into is checking your printer status in EufyMake Studio every time you sit down to print before you do anything else. If you need to inject ink, start it immediately so you're not waiting around later.

What "device is busy" actually means
The "device is busy" error means your EufyMake E1 has gone into maintenance mode. This happens automatically if you haven't printed in about 3 days. When the machine goes into maintenance mode the print head enters a moisturizing status to protect it - which is good for the hardware, but it means you can't print until you complete an ink re-injection first. This is not a malfunction. It's just how the machine is designed to operate. But if you don't know what's causing it, that error message is confusing and frustrating.
The ink reinjection takes about 10 minutes. Start it running as soon as you open the software - that way it can run in the background while you get your design set up and you won't be sitting there waiting.
Once the ink reinjection is complete the software will update to show your printer is ready to print.
How to fix the "device is busy" error
In EufyMake Studio, click the device settings tab at the top of the screen. You'll see your printer status there. If it shows that the machine is in maintenance mode or moisturizing status, click the Inject Ink button to start the process.I have a full video walking through exactly where to find this in the software and what to do:
Always run a test print after coming out of maintenance mode
This is important. Once the ink injection is done, do not go straight to printing on your project materials. Run a test print first.Coming out of maintenance mode is one of the most common triggers for white ink problems on the EufyMake E1. The test print takes about four to six minutes and will tell you immediately whether your white ink is printing correctly before you waste any materials on a bad print.

Why does this happen every 3 days?
The EufyMake E1 is designed to go into maintenance mode automatically after about 3 days without printing. This is to protect the print head from drying out. If you print regularly you may never see this error. But if you use the machine a few times a week or less, you're going to run into it regularly.Note: This post may contain affiliate links.
