I got to see the Alta printing first hand while at Silhouette's Summit meeting earlier this month.

And perhpas the biggest question about the Silhouette 3D printer...what do you make with it? The awesome thing is you can use your Silhouette Studio designs as well as the 3D designs that come with the Alta.  Here are a few ideas...custom gift tags, cookie cutters, toys, and vases!

  5. A few weeks ago I was visiting my son who is an electrical engineer and he gave me a tour of his lab. I couldn't get enough of his industrial size 3D printer. TWO days later I received the pre-order email from Swing design...coincidence? I think not!
