No matter the blade (new auto blade, new kraft, new ratchet) I use the blade is not making cuts deep enough. For example: now have to set ratchet blade to 7 just to cut vinyl. I'm almost wondering if there is an issue with the carriage?? I had an original Cameo that worked great for 5+ years so I'm not new to the Silhouette world. Cameo 4 is only 2 years old and was working fine up until about a month ago: firmware and software are up-to-date, can't get a response from Silhouette - wondering if I have a lemon and just have to buy a new one or if there is a fix out there somewhere? Any help or insight would be greatly appreciated! I have tried to reset it by unplugging it and moving the carriage back and forth 3 times then turning the machine back on. It still continues to vibrate against the side. I have taken the auto blade out and made sure it was free of dust. I made sure that I put the blade back in correctly and made sure it snapped. I have searched tutorials and troubleshooting blogs but I am stil unable to find the solution. I do not want to leave it on too long because I don't want to damage the machine. However, I have video the problem and I will be glad to send it to you if you would like. Please let me know what I may be doing wrong or if others have had the same issue.
