Chalkboard Printables Template: Free Silhouette Studio Cut File

It's freebie Friday and this week I'm sharing a free chalkboard printable template with you! These are popular for the beginning and end of the school year and since it's Back to School time I thought you could use it - even if the first day of school has already happened.  Don't worry in 15 years no one will know that the third grade 'first day' picture happened during the second week of school. ;)

Funny, too, right?!

A few things to know about this first day of school chalkboard  printable template...

Silhouette Studio, free cut file, chalkboard printable
  • It's set up so that even if you don't have the fonts in your font list they will appear just as you see them. In order to do that, however, only the size and colors can be changed, not the font style.
  • The only exceptions are Name, Teacher, and School which can be fully edited as text...so you can change the font style.
  • To start editing ungroup one time
  • Want to delete on  box and add something else? Just select the 'header' and delete to make room to add your own!
Feel free to add little designs, customize the colors and quiz your little student to see what kinds of fun things they are dreaming of becoming when they grow up - then fill in the blanks!

No registration marks required for a full page print - just print on your home computer or export as a PDF and have printed.

And remember - these are free for personal use only! Please don't let me find them on Etsy or sale sites...or I'll have to discontinue offering free Silhouette Studio cut files.

  4. Would love to make one for my Grandson who is starting school but I can't figure out how to edit this. I am pretty new to Silhouette and have only done some basic things. Any chance of a video on this?

  5. I tried to download this and this box came up:
Some data contained within the field could not be loaded because it requires a later version of silhouette studio. This could result in data loss should you choose to save over the original file.
I clicked help & check for updates... and this came up
    No updates are currently available.
Where do I go from here?
